A Look At Ankita Lokhande’s Ram Navami Celebrations At Home – News18

Ankita Lokhande has been receiving praise for her depiction of Yamunabai in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The actress shared the screen with Randeep Hooda in the epic drama. While Ankita has a slew of other projects that are surely keeping her busy, the actress is dedicated not to let go of her spiritual side. Recently, as the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami was celebrated across the country, the actress gave a glimpse of her daily ritual at home.

Ankita Lokhande posted a short clip on her Instagram handle that was shot inside her house. In the caption, she wrote, “May love and light fill every corner of our home.” The actress is seen lighting incense sticks in front of the idols and then performing an arti around the house. She has a place dedicated to the idols, which is grandly decorated.

Many of her fans were happy to see her spiritual personality and wished for a better future for her. One of them stated, “This is Ankita Lokhande…respect our culture..that is why I just love her because she didn’t do any fakeness & showoff…may god always protect you from negativity & this year was blessed. Keep Shining.”

Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande is preparing for Sandeep Singh’s next project, a web series titled Amrapali. She has been cast as the lead character, Amrapali, an experienced royal dancer from the ancient republic of Vaishali. In a recent interview with Etimes, Ankita Lokhande expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to play the famed royal dancer. She stated, ““I feel very lucky that I am offered such strong roles. I also sometimes get surprised that people see or visualize me in such strong roles. I started my journey with Pavitra Rishta and slowly moved towards such strong roles as Amrapali. When I get offered such strong roles sometimes, I feel, will I be able to pull them off. It is quite challenging for me but I respect that people see me in such strong roles.”

Earlier, filmmaker Sandeep Singh unveiled the first look at Ankita Lokhande as Amrapali. In the poster, she appears stunningly attractive in a traditional dress, decorated with magnificent jewellery.

Ankita Lokhande recently also appeared in Vishal Mishra’s music video for the song Laa Pila De Sharaab with her husband Vicky Jain. The duo together participated in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 as well.
