Sources told News18 that along with Raigad, Baramati, Shirur and Satara, NCP has asked for seats like Gadchiroli, Parbhani and Dharashiv.
Amid reports claiming that the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra has made significant progress on seat-sharing talks for Lok Sabha, sources told News18 that no final call has been taken yet. A source added that the formula of 29-11-8 is still being worked out.
Source have indicated that Ajit Pawar-led NCP is asking for eight seats, and accordingly the leaders are working out a formula to give 29 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 11 to Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and eight to Nationalist Congress Party.
Sources further told News18 that along with Raigad, Baramati, Shirur and Satara, NCP has asked for seats like Gadchiroli, Parbhani and Dharashiv.
