Yemeni telecom firms warn that Houthis are planning to sabotage the network of submarine cables in the Red Sea, as per The Guardian. This is after a Telegram channel allegedly affiliated to the Houthis threatened to harm the cables that line the Bab el-Mandeb strait. The cables are critical to the functioning of the Western Internet and the transmission of financial data.
