Xiaomi and Redmi devices will be getting HyperOS update in India soon
Xiaomi HyperOS is a new, lighter and leaner version of MIUI based on Android 14 that made its debut earlier this year with the Xiaomi 14 flagship phone.
Xiaomi has started the new month with more good news for its customers in India, especially those who have been waiting for the new Android 14-based HyperOS update. The company says HyperOS is not only going to be a mobile-centric platform, but we’ll also see other products added to the ecosystem, including a car.
For now, Xiaomi has regularly updated people about its roll out plans and those in India still using a Xiaomi/Redmi phone or Redmi Pad tablet, can expect big moves from the company in the coming months.

Xiaomi claims it has upgraded its latest Xiaomi and Redmi devices to the HyperOS version, and soon, more of its older devices will be getting the update in the next few months. The lineup includes Mi 10 which is a surprising choice but most people would welcome this move, and yes, it is good to see the Mi 11 Ultra also included in the list. Xiaomi has been blamed over the years for being less active in updating its older devices but HyperOS seems to be changing that for good and people would be happy to see this change from the brand.
