Randy Orton was left fuming after Speed interfered during his bout with Logan Paul.
A clip showcasing the aftermath of IShowSpeed getting destroyed by Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40 is going viral on social media.
YouTuber Darren ‘IShowSpeed’ was hit by an RKO on the announcer’s desk when he tried to provoke The Viper during the United States Championship bout. Once the match was over, Speed could be seen in pain as he struggled to get off the desk.
He then had something to drink before hugging his buddy Logan Paul who retained his crown against Orton and Kevin Owens. A clip of the sequence was uploaded on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
After the match, IShowSpeed headed back to the locker room with Logan.
Speed was wearing a neck brace an indication of the impact the RKO may have had on him.
He soon addressed his viewers, updating them about his health situation following the thrashing.
“You guys know I got RKO’d by Randy Orton. You know, I’m being honest, everything is real. I have a fat headache right now. My neck is kinda f****d. It’s very stiff like it’s cramped up. I got the wind knocked out of me. I might just be in the hospital for one day, Imma be okay,” he said.
IShowSpeed had quite an eventful night on Sunday. The internet sensation made an appearance at the Show of Shows, WrestleMania 40, during Logan’s defence of the United States Championship. The streamer dressed up in a mascot costume to promote a drink. Though, things did not go exactly as planned when he interfered in the championship match.
During the fight, Orton had Logan pinned right before IShowSpeed pulled out the referee to prevent the count. This led to The Viper confronting Speed before kicking straight into his midsection and then planting the RKO.
While IShowSpeed might have been on the bitter end of Orton’s rage, WrestleMania 40 was nothing but glorious for Logan. The Maverick was able to defend his crown against two former WWE Champions Kevin Owens and Orton in a triple-threat match. The distraction served as the perfect recipe for success enabling Paul to pin Owens after a Frog Splash.
