Recently, a video detailing the intricate process of incense stick production has gone viral on Instagram, unravelling the complexities involved. The video unveils a labour-intensive process requiring the concerted efforts of many individuals. It showcases the creation of a powder-like substance that is later mixed with ash. The resultant mixture takes on a deep black hue before being rapidly inserted into a specialized machine. Within the confines of this machine, the black mixture envelops the sticks, emerging as complete incense sticks on the other end.

Subsequently, these sticks are collected by women workers, bundled together, and placed in the sun to dry and harden. Following this rigorous procedure, the incense sticks are bundled, weighed, and prepared for packaging in factories before reaching the market.
