UPSC CSE 2023 Results: Four Men From Rajasthan’s Barmer Make It To The Final List – News18

After the UPSC 2023 results announcement on Tuesday, April 16, several families in the country celebrated their children’s achievements, as many became rank holders in the examination. The same can be said for four young men from the city of Barmer, Rajasthan.

These four youngsters from Barmer are Mohanlal Jakhar, Akshay Dosi, Purna Prakash Meghwal and Vijay Raghav Goel, who proved that you only have to rely on yourself for success.

Mohanlal Jakhar

Mohanlal Jakhar is a resident of Bhadkha in the district of Barmer. He secured the 53rd rank in the UPSC examination. He has an incredibly impressive educational journey, as before this he successfully passed the JEE exam and then the RAS. Mohanlal is the son of a farmer and this was his fourth attempt at the examination.

Akshay Dosi

Akshay Dosi is from the area of Chauhtan and secured the 73rd rank in the examination. This was his fifth attempt at the exam, where he proved why you should never give up. In 2023, he qualified for the RAS exam with 165th rank. He is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and is the son of Anita Devi, a housewife and Mahesh Dosi an LIC employee.

Purna Prakash Meghwal

Purna Prakash is a resident of the Siwana, who was able to crack the examination on his fourth attempt, securing the 885th rank. He completed his earlier studies at Pachpadra and did his BTech in Electronics. He is the son of Goparam Meghwal, a politician.

Vijay Raghav Goel

Vijay Raghav Goel, who belongs to Balotra, cracked the exam in his fourth attempt, to secure the 229th rank. After acquiring education from Balotra, he completed his BE in Electronics from IIT Delhi and started his UPSC preparation. According to him, he devoted 10 to 14 hours a day to preparing for the exam. He is the son of Jai Prakash Goyal, a textile trader and Sita Devi, a housewife.
