The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the final results of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2023 soon. Once out, all the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. An official announcement of the result date is still awaited. All the candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website and the social media handles regarding any updates.
The result list will contain the All India Rank (AIR) of each candidate who successfully passed every round. The final merit list will be made after combining the candidate’s preliminary, mains and personality tests scores. It will be arranged in descending order. The list will also specify for which service IAS, IPS, IFS or IRS the candidate has been recommended.
The UPSC CSE results will decide which candidate will be joining the coveted ranks of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other central government services.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 Final Results: How to check? Follow these easy steps
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look out for the tab named ‘Results’ and click on it.
Step 3: After clicking on Results, a new page will open with multiple tabs. Look out for another tab ‘Civil Services 2023 Exam Final Result’ or some similar mentioning and click on it.
Step 4: The result is likely going to be a PDF document.
Step 5: Follow the instructions carefully and fill all the required details and find your result within the PDF.
Step 6: Download your result and take a print out of it on a white A4 size sheet paper for future reference.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up 1105 vacant positions. All the candidates who had successfully cleared the preliminary exam which was held earlier on May 28, 2023, proceeded to give the mains exam in September 2023. The candidates who successfully passed the mains exams as well were called for a personality test which was conducted on January 2 and April 9, 2024.
