The UPSC 2023 results are out. Many aspiring and hard-working students have cracked this hard examination. One of them is Sanskriti Singh, daughter of Rakesh Singh, a resident of Toygarh village in Barbigha block of Sheikhpura, Bihar. She got the 366th rank in the civil service examination.

As per reports, Sanskriti has carried forward the tradition of the third generation of her family by achieving success in the Union Public Service Commission examination. Her late grandfather, Bharat Singh, was the first IPS of Sheikhpura district. He passed away last year. She has two siblings, Rakesh Singh and Mukesh Singh, Both of them are also in the civil service.

After Sanskriti has achieved success recently, a wave of happiness is being seen in the village as well as the entire district. She ranked 366th in the UPSC. According to family members, Sanskriti has been good at reading and writing and interested in studies since childhood.

Sanskriti’s father, Rakesh Singh, is working as the Additional Chief Secretary in Karnataka State. Meanwhile, in a media interaction, her maternal uncle, Pappu Singh, shared that Sanskriti got married three years ago. Her husband is also an IRS officer. At present, he is working on the post of Income Tax Commissioner. However, Sanskriti has done her preparation for the UPSC in both Delhi and Karnataka.

Apart from this, a young woman from Kozhikode, Kerala, has defied the challenges of cerebral palsy to achieve a remarkable feat: clearing the civil services exam.

Sarika A. K, despite her condition, which limits the use of her right hand, managed to secure a commendable rank of 922 in her second attempt at the UPSC 2023 exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Sarika’s journey through the various stages of the civil service exam was full of difficulties. From navigating exam centres to facing the challenges of a week-long main examination, she overcame each obstacle with resilience and managed to earn this success.
