Ukraine claims to have destroyed six warplanes and “heavily damaged” eight others in a “massive” drone attack on a Russian military airfield. Kyiv launched one of its largest overnight attacks in weeks, firing more than 50 drones at Russian territory, according to Russia’s defence ministry. Russian forces have advanced into a suburb of the city of Chasiv Yar in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, Russia’s state-owned RIA news agency reported. Russian investigators claim to have uncovered more evidence of Ukraine’s alleged involvement in last month’s deadly concert hall attack. Meanwhile, the Czech Republic’s transport minister has alleged that Russia is trying to sabotage European train networks.
