UGC-NET is conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA).
The UGC-NET Exam is conducted twice every year in the months of June and December.
The National Testing Agency(NTA) announced the examination date for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on September 19. The exams will be conducted by the authority from December 6 to December 22, 2023. NTA conducts UGC-NET in order to determine the eligibility of national residents for the position of Assistant Professor as well as Junior Research Fellowship for Universities and colleges across India. NTA announced the date of the examinations on Twitter and wrote, ”#Announcement UGC-NET December 2023 cycle will be conducted from 6th December to 22 December 2023.”
UGC-NET Exam is conducted twice every year in the months of June and December. This year, the examination cycle will be regularised by NTA, along with UGC. The UGC NET June 2023 was conducted in 83 subjects at selected cities across the nation.
UGC NET Examination Calendar
Earlier on the same day, NTA also rolled out the examination calendar for the Academic Year 2024-25. While National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 has been scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024, the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) will be held between May 15 to 31, 2024. Those seeking admission can directly visit the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in and view the examination calendar.
The Examination Calendar for the academic year 2024-25 also has the examination dates for Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) – 2024 session I examination. It will be conducted between January 24 to February 1, 2024. The UGC-NET Session – I will be conducted between June 10 and June 21, 2024.
UGC NET Registration December 2023: Date And Time
NTA is yet to announce the date and time for UGC NET Registration in December 2023. If the reports are to be believed, the authority is expected to begin the online applications for the UGC NET this month itself.
