A top Chinese general vowed to crack down on what he called “fake combat capabilities” in the military. General He Weidong, China’s Number 3 military official, made the remarks during a discussion with a PLA delegation on March 5. The discussion was part of the ongoing “two sessions” gathering of China’s legislature and top political advisory body in Beijing.
