The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has posted a recruitment notice for Secondary Grade Teacher positions on its official website. The recruitment drive will fill 1768 secondary teacher positions around the state. The online registration process will start tomorrow, February 14, 2024.
Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online at trb.tn.gov.in, the official TN TRB website, by March 15 at the latest. A valid Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate is required of candidates applying for the position of Secondary Grade Teacher.
TN TRB Teacher Recruitment 2024:Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have earned a two-year diploma in elementary education and a minimum of 50 per cent in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent). Other alternatives are a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) after completing Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent of the required marks, or both. Moreover, applicants who hold a 2-year elementary education diploma and a graduation degree are also qualified. The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper I must have been passed by every applicant.

TN TRB Teacher Recruitment 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board’s official website, trb.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for and select “Apply Online” to start the registration process for the positions of Secondary Grade Teachers. Give the required details, like your name and contact information.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and password to access the portal for the application form.
Step 4: Upload documents in the format specified and complete the application form with the necessary data.
Step 5: Pay the application fee based on your classification.
Step 6: To finish the registration procedure, click the “submit” button.
There are three stages to the TN TRB Secondary Teacher Recruitment process 2024. Candidates must pass the Compulsory Teacher Eligibility Test during Stage One. Stage two requires students to take a written test. Ultimately, qualified applicants proceed to Certificate Verification in Stage Three.
