The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has opened the application window to allow candidates to register themselves for the recruitment of assistant professors in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service. Candidates may apply for TN TRB recruitment 2024 by visiting the official website at trb.tn.gov.in. The deadline for the registration process is April 29 till 5 pm.

The TN TRB recruitment drive is being conducted to hire a total of 4,000 assistant professors at Government Arts and Science Colleges and Government Colleges of Education. The examination is likely to be conducted on August 4.

TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the position of Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu’s government colleges must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55 per cent marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) in a relevant subject from a recognised university.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be below the age of 57 years as on July 1, 2024.

Step 4: The next step is to simply Register yourself and proceed with filling out the application form.

Step 5: Once done, make the payment.

Step 6: After making the payment, submit the form and keep a downloaded copy for the same and further use.

TN TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

While filling out the application form, candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 600 whereas the ones belonging to the category of SC, SCA, ST and differently-abled persons will need to pay Rs 300 for the same. It needs to be noted that online payment can be made only through Payment Gateway (Net banking/ Credit Card / Debit Card). The candidates will also have to pay the service charges as applicable while making the online payment.
