Indian Railways is going to make this station world-class, along with a total of more than 1,000 stations that are being redeveloped across the country. Work has started on all these stations There is a VIP entry at the New Delhi Railway Station, which is used by VIPs like MPs and Union Ministers. This area has undergone a renovation and greenery has been planted along the path. Right here, in a corner lies a tree that cost Rs 25 lakh to import and plant.

This special tree is fed one litre of protein in a month, costing around Rs 2,500. The cost of fertiliser and water together is around Rs 5,000. Next time you go to New Delhi station, you can see this tree by going to the end towards Tilak Bridge on platform number 1.
