The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 results will be declared tomorrow, March 28. Anna University will announce the results through the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates will be able to download the scorecards from April 30 to May 3.

As per the marking scheme, TANCET 2024 includes 100 questions, one mark each and there is a negative marking of one-third of the total marks for each incorrect answer. The final answer key has already been released by the varsity.

Step 1:Go to the official website at tancet.annauniv.edu.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the section results section

Step 3: Click on the link and enter the required log in details. Hit submit.

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and take a printout for future reference.

TANCET 2024 Result: What’s Next?

Those who clear the exam will next be called to participate in the counseling process. Candidates should keep track of the official website to get an update on the counselling registration, document verification, seat allotment process, and dates after the results are out. Thereafter, candidates will have to keep the required documents ready for verification purposes in counselling. Candidates must have a secured 50 per cent in graduation to be eligible to apply for counselling. The percentage is 45 per cent for reserved category candidates.

The TANCET entrance exam was conducted on March 9, with the MCA exam taking place in the morning shift from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by the MBA exam in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam is conducted in the offline mode for 120 minutes or two hours.

The TANCET is held annually for individuals aspiring to enroll in Anna University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree programmes. The minimum qualifying score will only be disclosed in the official result notifications that the relevant colleges and institutions will put out after the results are announced.
