Swiggy One Lite Membership Launched For Rs 99; Check Benefits And Perks – News18

The online food delivery company, Swiggy, recently launched a membership program which is affordable and cost effective. According to reports, this new membership is offering several benefits to its customers.

The membership is called Swiggy One Lite, which is an affordable and economical version of Swiggy One. Swiggy One already gives a lot of benefits on grocery, food and delivery services. Now, Swiggy One Lite is providing benefits like free deliveries, discounts and exclusive offers at the price of Rs 99 for a three-month subscription.

For three months, a consumer can enjoy the benefit of 10 free deliveries on orders of food which cost more than Rs 149 and 10 free deliveries on Instamart orders which cost more than Rs 199. Apart from these, the consumers will also get a 30 per cent extra discount on more than 20,000 restaurants, along with the regular offers. The members will also get a discount of 10 per cent on deliveries over Rs 60 for Swiggy Genie deliveries.

Swiggy’s Vice-President of Revenue and Growth Anurag Panganamamula said that 9 out of 10 Swiggy One members used two or more services provided by the membership, which makes it “one of the most valuable memberships” in India. He added, “Following a fruitful B2B launch with prominent players, we’re thrilled to debut Swiggy One Lite on our platform. It’s a cost-effective alternative crafted to deliver exceptional value to our patrons, especially those yet to discover the unmatched advantages of the Swiggy One programme.”

With the initial fee set at Rs 99 for three months, a typical Swiggy One Lite user can anticipate returns equivalent to at least six times the membership cost, encompassing orders from food delivery, Instamart and Genie.

Earlier, In November 2021, Swiggy introduced Swiggy One, giving users access to unlimited free deliveries from specific restaurants, complimentary deliveries for Instamart orders and exemption from surge fees, alongside other benefits.
