Recently, Shiv Thakare shared how a fan expressed their admiration for him by getting a tattoo of his face. He reacted saying that this creates pressure on him to do good work.
Shiv Thakare, known for his appearances on popular reality series, has always captivated audiences with his personality and honest nature. The Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11 star has a large fan base and has often been open about his professional and personal life. Recently, Shiv shared how a fan expressed their admiration for him by getting a tattoo of his face. He reacted saying that this undoubtedly creates pressure on him to do good work.
In conversation with Hindustan Times, Shiv Thakare stated that while the fan’s gesture is overwhelming, he is worried, “What if he doesn’t like any of my projects tomorrow and starts hating me? Main nahi chahta ki mujhse koi galti ho jaye jisse wo hurt ho.” Shiv mentioned that the fan is from Nasik and he has spoken to him over the phone. The fan is a social worker and Shiv has extended his help and agreed to work together if needed.
However, Shiv Thakare is quite used to fans doing something special for him. He narrated that during his time in Bigg Boss “a lady who delivered her baby while I was inside. Uske first day pe hi unhone us bachche ki ungli se mujhe vote kiya aur uska naam bhi Shiv rakha (The first day she voted for me was with her son’s finger and named the child as Shiv).”
In the interview, Shiv stated that while it is good to get all the love from fans but when they do something so extreme it adds to the pressure of giving his best in his work. He fears that a small mistake could hurt his fans. He added, “Agar aap mujhse pyaar karte ho, mere kaam ko support karo. Mujhe bas duaein chahiye kyunki aaj ke time pe duaein badi mehengi hoti hain (If you love me then support my work. I want your prayers because that’s the most expensive to find).”
Shiv Thakare has been doing reality programmes back to back. He was last seen in the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Before this, he appeared on Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. He won Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 and later appeared in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 16. Shiv has proven himself on reality shows and is currently one of the most popular stars.
