The Security and Accuracy Board of India (SEBI) recently released a notification for the recruitment of different departments of the government body. As per the official announcement, the recruitment will take place for the post of Assistant Manager for various streams. Aspirants can apply only by visiting the official website of SEBI sebi.gov.in.
As per the official notification, candidates have to pay Rs 1,000 as an application fee with 18% GST. For the reserved candidates, the application fee is Rs 100 + 18%GST. The application link will be available from April 13. Candidates are suggested to go through the detailed information available on the website.
Responsibilities
A candidate selected following the selection process of SEBI Grade A officer has to oversee various aspects. The profile of a Grade A officer includes managing legal matters, as well as handling capital funds, mutual funds and many more. Adding to the list of responsibilities, a Grade A officer is also responsible for overseeing the works of the Income Tax Department and Company acquisitions and mergers. The candidate selected for this position will have a 2-years of probation period.
Salary
The position of the Assistant Manager in SEBI falls under the Grade A officer category. According to the official notification, the pay scale starts from Rs 44,500 and may go up to Rs 89,150. A Dearness Allowance of 30.38% is also to be added to the basic pay. Adding to it, a special allowance of 16.4% of the basic pay is also to be added. More allowances like Family Allowance (Rs 2,850), City Compensatory Allowance (5% of the basic pay), Local Allowance (Rs 3450), Grade Allowance ( 14% of the pay scale) and Special Compensatory Allowance (Ranges between Rs 500- Rs 625) will also get added to the main salary structure.
