Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Delhi’s Anand Vihar Railway Station on Thursday. In the images shared by the Congress party, Gandhi can be seen sitting between a group of porters in red uniform and interacting with them.

In a post on the microblogging site X (formally Twitter), Congress said that coolies wanted to meet Gandhi, and his visit to the Railway Station was a continuation of his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’.

“Jananayak Rahul Gandhi ji met the porters at Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi today. Recently, a video went viral in which the porters at the railway station had expressed their desire to meet him. Today Rahul ji reached among them and listened to them. Bharat Jodo Yatra continues,” the party wrote in Hind while sharing an image of Gandhi’s visit.

Since the conclusion of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Gandhi has often been seen interacting with common people and listening to their problems. As part of the party’s outreach programme, Congress has been sharing these experiences on its various social media Channels, including Gandhi’s YouTube channel.

In June end, the Wayanad MP visited a bike mechanic workshop in Delhi’s Karol Bagh and interacted with mechanics there. Prior to that, he also too a truck ride in the US and India while he interacted with drivers and listened to their problems.
