The Bigg Boss 14 winner recently took to Instagram to share wholesome snippets from her stay in her hometown in the hilly state. Rubina shared a set of photos that showed her playing with her pet dog Leo, relishing a home-cooked meal and her family members relishing the warmth of the sun outside their wood panel house. Rubina captioned these photos as “Simply the best”, in less than two hours her post got over 50,000 likes.

In her photo with Leo, Rubina looked stunning in a light green and golden kurta and salwar set. She paired her kurta with a half-sleeved jacket. Despite wearing an intricately embroidered outfit, Rubina maintained a simple look as she kept her hair in a functional updo. Her delicate pearl earrings completed the whole look. In the comments, people have requested Rubina to share a vlog about her recent visit to her hometown. An Instagram user commented on Rubina’s simple home-cooked meal and wrote, “You too eat such simple food in simple utensil that too with hands, its really unbelievable.”

Rubina routinely shared photos of her hometown and her beloved pet Leo. Leo is a stray puppy that Rubina and her husband Abhinav Shukla adopted in 2019. While speaking to Mid-Day, about her pet, Rubina said, “Leo is our adopted pet, a part of our family. We adopted a stray puppy, after Abhinav and I lost our Shih Tzu whom we fondly called Romeo. Back in 2019, we decided to give shelter to a street dog. Leo was around one month old when we brought him home. The amount of love that he shows, jumps and runs around is absolutely amazing.” She added that having Leo gives them a sense of security and her whole family feels blessed to have him in their lives.

Rubina Dilaik gave birth to her twin daughters in November last year. She recently opened up about the difficulty of early motherhood on a podcast. Rubina said that taking care of two newborns left her completely tired and she was barely getting sleep. One day Abhinav forced her to move to another room for a night so that she could catch up on the sleep as Abhinav took care of the girls.
