Going by the Vedic Panchang, the full moon date of the Krishna Paksha for the Phalgun month will begin at the time of 09.54 am, on March 24, and it will end by 12.29 pm, the next day — which is March 25. So, the devotees can observe a fast on March 24, while the donation and the bathing can be done on March 25.

Then, on March 25, the first lunar eclipse is expected, which is also the day of Phalgun Purnima. As per more information, the eclipse will start in the morning at 10:24 am, and will end by 3:01 pm. But this eclipse will not be recorded in India, making the sutak period invalid. Considering that, a devotee can bathe and donate on the morning of March 25.

Phalgun Purnima 2024: Bathing and Donation Timings

You can start bathing and the donation work on the Brahma Muhurat. On the day of Phalgun Purnima, the Brahma Muhurat is expected to start from 4:45 am, and will last till 5:32 am.

According to more information, the Vriddhi Yoga and the Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra are coinciding on this day. It is believed that during such auspicious situations, a devotee performing donations, bathing and worshipping, will get to experience their desired results.
