Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday claimed that K Chandrashekhar Rao wanted to be a part of the BJP-led NDA alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. But the Prime Minister said he refused to let the BRS leader enter into the NDA.
The PM’s remarks came during BJP’s rally in Telangana’s Nizamabad. The PM’s comments assume significance as KCR has been making efforts to put up a third front against the BJP and Congress for the general elections next year.
PM Modi said KCR used to receive him at airports and grant him courtesy and respect but he stopped doing so after he was not allowed to join the NDA. “Tabse woh mujhse nazar nahi milate,” he said.
