After the JEE Mains 2024, the JEE Advanced will be conducted following which those who qualify will be called in foe the counselling sessions 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently announced the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains 2024) for around 10.67 lakh applicants for the Session 2 Papers. In the JEE Main results of 2024, 56 individuals obtained a perfect score of 100 percentile. Applicants who appeared in sessions 1 and 2 may now access their NTA scores and JEE Main ranks for BE and BTech examinations for 2024 on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The first and second session scores are included on the NTA JEE Main scorecard 2024. The testing agency had made it clear that admission will be offered to those only who attended both sessions. The NTA has now ended both sessions, and will soon conduct the JEE Advanced 2024 post which the counselling process for engineering courses will start.

Below are the details of the admission phases that are to be cleared by candidates who are willing to get admission to engineering colleges of their choice:

JEE advanced 2024

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2024, administered by IIT Madras, will start the registration process on Saturday, April 27. Students who have qualified for JEE Main 2024 can register for JEE Advanced 2024 on the official website jeeadv.nic.in until the deadline of May 7, as per the schedule released by IIT Madras. The registration fee can be submitted till May 10th.

IIT Madras has released the timetable, which states that candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2024 can register for JEE Advanced 2024 on the official website, jeeadv.nic.in, until the deadline of May 7.

JoSAA Counselling

Counselling for admission to 118 institutions, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 38 other technical schools, will take place under the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA 2024). JoSAA counselling will be provided in six rounds in total. The starting and closing JEE Main rank for each institute will be announced by the officials following each round.

Registration for JoSAA counselling 2024 will open on June 10, 2024 (tentatively). JoSAA 2024 counselling can be accessed online at josaa.nic.in by candidates who meet the qualifying JEE Mains or JEE Advanced marks. One will get ten days to register and select the academic programmes. The document verification process and seat assignments will be included in these 10 days.After the JEE Advanced exam 2024 on May 26, there will be a counselling session. The JoSAA counselling procedure for 2024 is expected to start on June 20.

JEE CSAB 2024

The Central Seat Allocation Board’s (CSAB) counselling 2024 will soon start the CSAB registration process on the official website. Candidates who meet the requirements may register for CSAB 2024 at csab.nic.in. For both special and NEUT round counselling, the CSAB application form 2024 will be made available separately. For CSAB counselling, applicants must possess a valid JEE Main 2024 score. The exam authority will start the CSAB counselling choice filling and locking procedure after registration is complete. The Central Seat Allocation Board will disclose the CSAB counselling following the choice filling process. Candidates are required to keep a check on the official website for any tentative dates.

The JEE Main scorecard will also be valid for other private engineering institutions. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Lucknow and Madan Mohan Malviya University of Science and Technology in Gorakhpur, will be starting admission for BTech, MTech (Integrated), and BArch programmes in its affiliated colleges for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The Government of Goa declared that this year, JEE Main will be used to admit students to engineering degree programmes at state level engineering colleges. Candidates should be aware that other institutes who choose not to use a centralised seat distribution mechanism will publish their rankings according to their admission policies and JEE rank.
