JEE Advanced 2024 Registrations to Begin Today; Check Steps to Apply – News18

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is all set to begin the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 today, April 27. Once the application window opens, candidates can apply via the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. Earlier, the online registration process was scheduled to start on April 21, but it was later postponed to April 27. According to the schedule, the deadline to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 is now May 7 and the last date for depositing the exam fee is May 10 upto 5 pm.

IIT Madras will administer the JEE Advanced 2024 exam on May 26. The admit card for the same will be released on May 17. This year, the JEE Advanced exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The final examination results will be published on June 9. Before that, the exam’s answer key will be provided on June 2. Candidates will be given two days to file their objections.

JEE Advanced 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who pass the JEE Main 2024 and rank in the top 2.5 lakh will be entitled to register for the JEE Advanced exam. It should be noted that a candidate can appear for the JEE (Advanced) twice in two consecutive years.

Apart from the JEE Mains 2024 ranking, aspirants must have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Candidates in the SC, ST, and PWD categories receive a five-year age relaxation.

JEE Advanced 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website at jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the registration link, when activated.

Step 3: Enter the details in the fields provided and register yourself.

Step 4: After registration, fill out the application form and pay the fee.

Step 5: Cross-check all the details and submit the form.

The JEE Advanced online registration is now open for foreign national applicants, including OCI and PIO candidates who obtained an OCI or PIO card on or after March 4, 2021.
