The World Health Organization (WHO) says it is trying to get access to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli raid. Dr Nahed Abu Taima, director of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, told Al Jazeera that the situation at the hospital is “catastrophic”. The IDF said its ground forces killed numerous “terrorists” as fighting continues in southern Gaza. Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 28,775 people and wounded 68,552, the Health Ministry in Gaza says. Lebanese militant groups said five of their members were killed in an overnight Israeli strike. Hezbollah announced that two of its members were killed, while the allied Amal group says three members died in the strike. Gaza will become “an area in deep crisis” once the war is over and Hamas will survive as a group, reportedly as per Israeli intelligence.
