Talking to media after the CID questioning, TDP national general secretary, Nara Lokesh said the first question that they asked was ‘who am I and what was my position when I was working for Heritage?’

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary, Nara Lokesh on Tuesday said that the answers to 49 of 50 questions the Andhra Pradesh CID posed to him during a six-hour-long interrogation in connection with the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scam case, are available on Google.

Talking to media after the CID questioning, Lokesh said the first question that they asked was ‘who am I and what was my position when I was working for Heritage?’

The probe agency further asked Lokesh what position he held in the TDP government. The TDP leader said the answers to such questions are easily available on the internet.

Making it clear that no evidence with regard to the case has been produced before him, Lokesh said he feels that it has become a habit of this government to take revenge on the Opposition and those who raise their voice against the policies of the ruling party.

Lokesh also pointed out that the former chief minister and TDP national president, Chandrababu Naidu was illegally sent to jail without any evidence.

He also raised questions at the state government regarding the incompletion of the Polavaram project and unemployment among the youth.

This is nothing but political vendetta, Lokesh said, adding that false cases were being foisted against him because he was trying to bring awareness among the people on this anarchic government through his Yuva Galam pada yatra.

“This is only part of a conspiracy to see to it that Chandrababu Naidu and I should not be among the public and to check the TDP from reaching the people,” he said.

Lokes further took a hit at Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for “not being aware” of Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest as he was in London at the time. “This Chief Minister should learn the minimum basics from the Director General of Police (DGP),” he said.

The TDP leader stated that he made it clear to the CID officials that he is ready to wait longer if the agency wants more clarifications from him. He is again served notices under 41A CrPC and is asked to appear before the probe agency by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

“When I have not done anything wrong there is no question of me being afraid of anyone,” Nara Lokesh maintained.
