Infinix Hot 40i Launched In India With 50MP Camera & 256GB Storage: Check Price, Specs – News18

Infinix has expanded its budget 4G Dual SIM smartphone lineup with the introduction of the Infinix Hot 40i today. The company says that it comes with a slew of premium features, including a 32MP front-facing selfie camera and the Magic Ring feature, reminiscent of the iPhone’s Dynamic Island, 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM.

 Infinix Hot 40i – Specifications and Features 

The Infinix Hot 40i runs on the octa-core UniSoc T606 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD. The brand claims users can use the virtual RAM feature to expand the RAM to 16GB.

In terms of display and build, the device sports a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it offers IP53 splash protection to shield users from the elements.

On the photography front, the device features a 50MP primary camera capable of capturing images in the 50MP mode. It also includes a secondary depth sensor and a Quad-LED flash. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is available, capable of recording 1080P 30FPS videos.

The Infinix Hot 40i houses a 5,000 mAh battery, and from our initial impressions, it can last up to two days with decent standby time. It comes with an 18W charger in-box for charging.

Biometric authentication is facilitated by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, or you can resort to the face unlock feature, which brings the Magic Ring in action.

Infinix Hot 40i – Price and Offers in India

The Infinix Hot 40i will be available on Flipkart, with the initial sale starting from February 21. The device is priced at Rs 9,999, but coupled with offers, buyers can get a Rs 1,000 discount, bringing the net effective price down to Rs 8,999.

The device is available for purchase in four color options: Palm Blue, Starfall Green, Horizon Gold, and Starlit Black.
