Just two months back, IAS Divya Mittal, the District Magistrate of Mirzapur, was the subject of discussion following her farewell from numerous women in a video that went viral on social media. The video captured many women showering the officer with rose petals. Because of the way she worked in the UP district for women, Divya gained popularity across social media. She is known to directly engage and connect with the public to understand the grassroots level of a problem before solving them.

Divya Mittal had achieved an All India Rank of 68 in the UPSC exams of 2012. She graduated from the prestigious IIT Delhi with a degree in engineering. She later graduated from IIM Bangalore with an MBA. After working in London, she and her husband Gagandeep returned to India. Known to have a very positive and optimistic outlook on life, she recently listed some mantras to implement in your life in order to be happy, content and successful in your life. She posted a thread on X (formerly Twitter) and listed these mantras in the thread.

Divya Mittal advises cultivating thankfulness and concentrating on your blessings rather than your shortcomings. Those who can recognise their life’s passion are truly fortunate. Develop your interests in sports, hobbies, and creative endeavours as well, she says. She also advises to nurture one’s relationships and not ignore them. Divya calls relationships the foundation on which life itself stands and they need to be taken care of.

She also shared about paying attention to both physical and mental health, pointing out that one can have everything in life and still not enjoy it without good health. A healthy mind, body and soul lead to happiness, Divya says. Apart from this, Divya Mittal advises to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, participate in social activities, help others, spend time with nature, learn to forgive people and be kind to oneself.
