The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the results of the Himachal Pradesh State Open School Class 8, 10, and 12 exams held in September 2023. The State Open School (SOS) test results are available for students to review and download on the HPBOSE official website, hpbose.org. Viewing the results requires candidates to log in to the student dashboard portal and input their roll number.
This year’s SOS Class 12 pass rate is reported at 57.3 per cent among students. On the other hand, 51.8 per cent of students cleared the Class 8 SOS test, while the Class 10 exam was passed by 46.3 per cent students.
The Himachal Pradesh State Open School exams are administered twice a year, in September and March, by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBSE). In September 2023, HPBOSE offered HPSOS class 12 (Full Subject, Re-Appear, Improvement, Additional) examinations, HPSOS class 10 (Full Sub, Re-Appear, Additional) exams, and HPSOS class 8 exams.
HPBOSE SOS result 2023: How to check
Students can verify the HPBOSE SOS results 2023 by following the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Go to the HPBOSE website at hpbose.org.
Step 2: On the main website, select the SOS result link.
Step 3: Look for the link to the HPBOSE SOS September results 2023.
Step 4: Enter your HPBOSE SOS Class 8, 10, and 12 roll numbers in the result portal and click on submit.
Step 5: The mark sheet for HPBOSE Classes 8, 10, and 12 will be presented on the screen.
Step 6: Download and print the HPBOSE SOS mark sheet 2023 for future records.
HPBOSE SOS result 2023: revaluation
Students in Class 8 will be able to request revaluation and recounting via the study centre until December 5 at the official website. A fee will be required from students in order to apply for revaluation. When applying for revaluation, students must have at least 20 per cent in the subject in question.
Those who intend to apply for a revaluation must do so by December 15. Students can contact the board office between 10 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday to inquire about their HPBOSE SOS results. For Class 8 and 10 students, the phone number to call is 01892-242199 and for Class 12 students, it is 01892-2421512.
