The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) exam is considered a difficult exam, and candidates need to have the right mindset and good strategy to qualify for the test. One such candidate is Vaishnavi Aggarwal, who cleared the CGPSC 2022 exam with 128th rank. In an interview with Local 18, Vaishnavi said that she has relied on self-study and didn’t take any coaching classes. Vaishnavi has been appointed as an Assistant Jailer after she cleared the prestigious exam. She cleared this exam on her third attempt. This article describes how she successfully demonstrated her acumen in this exam, despite numerous setbacks.

Vaishnavi hails from the Tendukona, a village located in Bagbahra Tehsil of Mahasamund district, Chhattisgarh. Her father Mamraj Aggarwal works as a businessman, while her mother Sangeeta Aggarwal is a housewife. It was not an easy task for Vaishnavi to become an officer. This is due to the fact that she is the first one from her family to prepare for the administrative services. To date, no one from her family has attempted the CGPSC exam. There was no one to guide Vaishnavi about the roadblocks in this examination and how to tackle them.

Vaishnavi said that the interviewers asked her many questions related to women’s empowerment. She was also asked why people are not interested in reading books these days. She said that people only prefer a different medium of reading, that is the online medium.

Vaishnavi didn’t compromise on entertainment during her preparation for the CGPSC exam. According to her, she took 2 hours off from her studies and travelled with friends. Vaishnavi considers her father as her inspiration. She said that he always inspired her to work relentlessly to achieve her goal. As of now, Vaishnavi aspires to become a deputy collector. She aims to tread forward with her unwavering dedication and perseverance.

Vaishnavi also left a message for the candidates who wish to clear this examination. She said that clearing the CGPSC exam is not an easy task and it requires constant hard work and self-study.
