Google’s 25th birthday marks a momentous occasion for a company which started its journey as a search giant and now offers AI applications.

Google celebrated its 25th birthday recently, and it seems the company had a big bash to mark the momentous occasion. In fact, the grand birthday party at the Google HQ in California had Googlers from all around the world, as pointed out by Google CEO, Sundar Pichai in this post.

He mentioned that the 25th Google birthday party had birthday cupcakes and by the looks of it, a lot of fun. During the party, Googlers also celebrated with a giant cake made with the colours of Google’s logo. Google has become an ever-present brand since its introduction as a search engine in the market.

Google even revealed a new doodle that shows the history of Google logos over the years and has added a new confetti Easter egg that plays every time you search for anything birthday-related.

Fast-forward to 2023, the company is now part of the Alphabet Group that offers industry-leading web browsers in Chrome, a mobile giant in the form of Android and even dabbled into hardware with the Pixel, Nest and Home devices over the last few years. The company has finally shifted its focus to generative AI-powered experiences as well with Google Bard and its LLMs like PaLM 2 and the upcoming Gemini looking to compete with ChatGPT and other AI applications.

Many have talked about Google reaching a nadir in terms of innovation and its development for the industry. But when you glance through the history of the company, everyone would agree that Google is one of the pioneers in the industry that continues to evolve and adapt to the changing needs, albeit at its own pace which delivers results.
