Divyanka Tripathi On The Pressure Of Embracing Motherhood: ‘Jab Sahi Waqt…’ – News18

Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are one of the most prominent couples in the Indian television industry, with a large fan following. The couple have been married for about 7 years and are each other’s support system. The couple look adorable together, and admirers can;t help but swoon about their chemistry. However, their married life is not devoid of societal pressures. Divyanka recently spoke about how she is dealing with pressure to embrace motherhood.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Divyanka Tripathi discussed the advice she and her husband Vivek Dahiya had received about embracing parenthood. The actress also stated that until last year, everything was quiet. Their fans or family did not mention it or pressure them. But now, everyone is talking about it. Divyanka shared “Ab achanak na parents are like poking us! Suno ho gaya hai bahut, bahut enjoy kar liya hai. Ab time ho gaya hai (Suddenly, parents have started poking us! Listen, it is enough now. You have enjoyed life enough. Now it’s time)”.

Sharing about how she and Vivek are taking the pressure, Divyanka mentioned that they are trying to stay positive about it. She mentioned, “They are poking us and we are taking it in a stride. Humlog maze le rahe hai, un log hume poke karte hai aur hume maza ata hai ki wow how sweet, how cute, kitne pyar se bol rahe hai (We are actually enjoying it as they keep on poking us and we keep on saying that how sweet, how cute of them it is for saying that.)”

Speaking about when the couple plans to step into this new phase of life, the actress said, “Jab sahi waqt hoga, ho jayega (Whenever it will be time, it will happen).” She added that she has also signed a new project and therefore will refrain embracing motherhood for some time now.

Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi met on the set of their television programme Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and soon after started dating. They tied the knot on July 8, 2016. While Divyanka made her television debut in 2006 with the drama Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Vivek’s first television role came in 2013 as the lead in Yeh Hai Aashiqui. They have also been seen on several shows such as in 2017, the couple won the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8.
