Defence Research and Development Organisation Invites Applications For 102 Vacancies – News18

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill 102 posts. This recruitment involves hiring candidates for prominent posts such as Stores Officer, Administrative Officer and Private Secretary. Under this recruitment drive, the Defence Research and Development Organisation aims to recruit candidates on a three-year contract basis. Out of the 102 positions, there are 17 vacancies for Stores Officer, 20 vacancies for Administrative Officer, and 65 vacancies for the Private Secretary post.

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of January 12, 2024.

Educational qualification: Candidates applying for the post must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognised Board or University.

Moreover, those applying for Stores Officer need to have three years’ experience in store keeping and maintaining store accounts in the Central Government or State Government or statutory Banks in a private sector organization autonomous organization or public sector undertaking or University or any recognized institution listed on the Stock Exchanges of India.

Candidates applying for Administrative Officer must have two years’ experience in Accounts Administration or Establishment matters.

Step 1: Visit the Defense Research and Development Organisation’s official website at www.drdo.gov.in.

Step 2: Under the Career section, click on the notification that says, ‘Filling up of various posts in DRDO, Ministry of Defence on Deputation basis’ on the homepage

Step 3: After selecting the post, take a printout of the proforma document

Step 4: Fill out the form as directed and attach essential documents in the mentioned size

Step 5: Once done, send the application by Speed post to the mentioned address

Step 6: Print an extra copy of the filled application form for future records.

Selection Process

The selection will take place on the basis of interviews after scrutiny of applications. For this, candidates will have to download the application form from DRDO’s official website and send it to the Deputy Director, Dte of Personnel (Pers-AAl) Room No. 266, Second Floor, DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi – 11010. Candidates should note that they must send the application form before January 12 through speed post.
