The race for the CUET UG 2024, one of the country’s premier undergraduate entrance examinations, has officially commenced with the National Testing Agency (NTA) initiating the online application process on February 27. Aspiring students must submit their online application forms by March 26, with provisions for modifications available until March 28.
Following this, candidates can anticipate the release of exam city slips on April 30, followed by the issuance of admit cards in the second week of May. The CUET UG examination is scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 3. However, UGC Chairman M Jagadish Kumar has hinted at the possibility of changes to the exam dates due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The CUET UG examination includes 61 subjects, comprising 33 languages, 27 domain-specific subjects and 1 general test subject. Students have the flexibility to select a maximum of 6 papers, with the option to choose 4 or 5 domain-based papers and 1 or 2 language subjects. The examination format will feature multiple-choice questions, offering candidates the choice to attempt the paper in 13 different languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Successful candidates in the CUET UG examination will secure admission to more than 250 universities nationwide, including central universities, state universities, private universities and deemed universities. Aspirants are encouraged to refer to the information bulletin available on the official portal of CUET for comprehensive details regarding the examination.
Meanwhile, the NTA has also issued exam city information slips for the CUET PG 2024. Applicants can download these slips from pgcuet.samarth.ac.in using their application number and date of birth. Admit cards for CUET PG are scheduled for release on March 7, as per the exam notification.
The detailed schedule for CUET PG 2024 was unveiled on February 27, with the examination slated to be held from March 11 to March 28 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. A total of 4,62,589 candidates have registered for CUET PG 2024.
