BPSC Headmaster, Head Teacher Recruitment 2024: Notification Out For Over 46,000 Vacancies; Registrations Soon – News18

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the notification for over 46,000 headmaster and head teachers’ posts. The registration process will start on March 11, and the last date to submit the form is April 2. Interested candidates can apply through an online portal at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Along with dates, BPSC has also announced the syllabus for both posts. There are a total of 6,061 headmasters under the education department and SC & ST welfare department and 40, 247 posts for head teachers for primary schools.

BPSC Headmaster, Head Teacher Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and must have 50 per cent marks. The candidate should have done a D.El.Ed/ B.T/ B.Ed./ B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.L.Ed. along with the Teachers Eligibility Test. They must have an experience of eight years as a secondary teacher in a state government school and 12 years as a secondary teacher in a school that is affiliated with CBSE, ACSE, and BSEB.

Step 2: First, get yourself registered then proceed with the application.

Step 3: Read carefully and fill out the application form.

Step 4: Upload all the required and correct documents that have been asked in the form.

Step 5: Pay the fee and click on the submit button.

Step 6: Take out the printout for your reference.

BPSC application fees for the general category is Rs 750 and candidates who come under SC & ST and the reserved category will have to pay Rs 200, and female candidates will have to pay Rs 200 for reserved or non-reserved category.

BPSC Headmaster, Head Teacher Recruitment 2024: Selection process

A written test will be conducted to determine eligibility through the merit list. The test will consist of questions about general knowledge and it will have 150 multiple-choice questions (objective type) worth 150 marks.
