The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has commenced the online registration process for the recruitment of Bihar Police Sub Inspector (SI) posts. Candidates can apply for the BPSSC Sub Inspector Recruitment 2023 via the official website of the Commission at bpssc.bih.nic.in. The application process for the Bihar Police Sub Inspector recruitment started on October 5. The last date to fill out the application form is November 5. Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to the unreserved, OBC and EWS categories must pay an application fee of Rs 700. Those from the SC and ST categories have to pay Rs 400 as a registration fee. Candidates should keep in mind that the application fees should be paid through online mode only.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 20 years, while the maximum age limit is 37 years, as on August 1. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.
Educational Qualification: Those applying for Bihar SI posts must have passed their graduation from a recognised university or its equivalent exam recognised by the state government.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exams followed by a physical test. The written exams are divided into two parts – Preliminary and Main.
1. Preliminary Exam: The exam will be for 2 hours and will consist of a 200-mark paper with 100 questions. Candidates who score less than 30 percent will be ruled ineligible for the Main exam.
2. Main Exam: Applicants who pass the preliminary exam are invited to take the main exam. The main test will consist of two papers.
