Bigg Boss 17 fame Ayesha Khan continues to make strides in the film industry. Following her recent appearance in a special song for Gangs of Godavari alongside Vishwak Sen, she is now set to grace the silver screen in Dulquer Salmaan’s highly-anticipated film Lucky Baskhar. The Telugu cinema industry is abuzz with excitement as the film is touted as an entertainer. Confirming her role in the film, Ayesha took to her Instagram Stories and shared the poster of Lucky Baskhar with the caption: “Excited to join the sets of Lucky Baskhar.”

During an interview with IANS, Ayesha mentioned, “The love I get from my South Indian fans is overwhelming and is something I will always cherish. I’ve always wanted to push myself to do better and who better than Dulquer Salmaan to be in the process with? Dulquer has been someone whose craft I have always admired. I am super excited about my special appearance in the film. It’s an honour to perform under Venky sir’s direction and to be a part of such a fine team.”

On February 3, Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram handle to reveal the first look of the film. In this poster, Dulquer is seen in a completely new avatar, sparking intrigue among fans. Sharing the poster, the actor expressed his excitement, stating, “Celebrating twelve years of my magical journey in Cinema, here’s presenting the first look poster of our very ambitious. Story unfolds in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil & Hindi at the theatres near you, soon!”

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film narrates the inspiring story of an ordinary man and his triumphs. Adding to the excitement surrounding the project is the presence of South Indian sensation Meenakshi Chaudhary as the lead actress.

Ayesha Khan embarked on her career as a junior artist in the television show Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Subsequently, she featured in the television series Baalveer Returns and made her mark in the Telugu language drama film Mukhachitram. However, her breakthrough came with her appearance on the reality show Bigg Boss Season 17. Entering the house as a wild card contestant, she garnered attention for making several allegations against stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui.

Her upcoming venture includes an appearance in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty. Additionally, she will appear in the upcoming Telugu film Gangs of Godavari, scheduled to hit theatres on March 8.
