Naveen missed out on a bronze medal after coming back with a win in the repechange event and losing out to Minseok Kim from the Republic of Korea.

In the Men’s Greco-Roman 130Kg event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Naveen who represents India had the chance to secure a bronze medal when he was pitted against Minseok Kim from the Republic of Korea.

Unfortunately, Naveen missed out on the medal after he lost against his opponent with only one point being scored by Naveen while his opponent managed to get 5 technical points to claim a loss in the fixture.

Naveen had initially picked up a defeat earlier in the day against China’s Lingzhe Meng with the Chinese winning by victory without any points won by the opponent.

He also had a chance to get back in a chance for the medal with a repechage event when Naveen was pitted against Singapore’s Timothy Yu Loh. The Indian wrestler managed to put in a dominant performance after

Naveen secured a victory and the chance to get the bronze medal after defeating the Singaporean, 9-0 and securing a victory.
