APPSC Recruitment Group 2 Notification for 897 Posts Released at psc.ap.gov.in – News18

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to various posts falling under Group II Services. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the vacancies by visiting the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at psc.ap.gov.in. It is important to note the candidates that the registration process will begin from December 21 onwards, and the last date to apply for the posts is January 10, 2024 (till 11:59 PM).

The screening test (Preliminary examination) is scheduled to be conducted on February 25, 2024. However, the date of the Main Examination is yet to be announced.

The notification has been released by the commission to fill up a total of 897 vacancies in the organisation. Out of these, 331 seats are reserved for executive posts, whereas 566 for non-executive posts.

APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023: Here’s How To Apply

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official site of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at psc.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link available on the home page that says, “APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023”.

Step 3: Once done, candidates will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4: Key in the registration details and log into your account.

Step 5: Fill out the application form as directed and upload the required documents in the prescribed size and format.

Step 6: Pay the application fees and submit the form.

Step 7: Download the confirmation page and print a hard copy of the same.

APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The Screening Test will be an objective type examination in OMR-based format which will be held in offline mode. However, the main exam would comprise objective-type questions, and candidates would have to answer them in offline mode (OMR-based) or a computer-based test (CBT).

Candidates will be short-listed for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) based on merit in the main written examination. In addition to that, the commission mentioned that no candidate shall be eligible for employment in the above-mentioned posts falling under Group-II Services unless they succeed in the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

The Group-2 APPSC direct recruitment notification also mentioned that the breakup of vacancies pay scale, age, educational qualifications, community, and other information will be made available on the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission at psc.ap.gov.in before December 21.
