Apple has raised the subscription prices of its various subscription services, including Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+, in the US and other regions.
Apple, days before its ‘Scary Fast’ event, where it is expected to showcase new Macs, has raised the subscription prices of its various subscription services, including Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+, in the US and other regions.
Starting with Apple TV+, the video streaming service now costs $9.99, up from $6.99 per month. Notably, Apple TV+ also received a price hike in 2022, increasing from $4.99 to $6.99.
Apple Arcade, on the other hand, has received a price hike for the first time ever. It now costs $6.99, up from $4.99 per month. Additionally, Apple News+ now costs $12.99, up from $9.99.
If you are looking to purchase the annual plan for Apple TV+, you will need to shell out $99, up from $69. Consequently, the Apple One service, which bundles various services, has also seen a price increase. It now costs $19.95, up from $16.95, and the family plan for the same, which includes 50GB of iCloud data, Apple TV+, Apple Music, and Arcade, now costs $25.95.
Notably, the price for Apple Music has not changed and remains at $10.99 per month. And, as for the Indian market, as of writing this, there is no visible price jump observed, and the services are available without any price hike, at least for now.
These price updates come just ahead of Apple’s ‘Scary Fast’ event on October 31, where the tech giant is expected to unveil a new M3-powered iMac and new MacBooks as well. It remains to be seen if the M3 lineup becomes a reality this year. With that said, industry analysts, including Mark Gurman, have pointed towards the M3 finally coming to fruition.
