Apple September Event 2023: The wait is finally over as the Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is set to launch the latest iPhone 15 series smartphones, including, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Watch Series 9, second-gen Watch Ultra and AirPods with USB Type C Port during its ‘Wonderlust’ event on September 12 (today), Tuesday.

Apple will be livestreaming the iPhone 15 launch event, which begins with a keynote from Apple CEO Tim Cook. Viewers in India can watch the iPhone 15 launch event live from 10:30 PM IST on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube.

iPhone 15 Specifications (Expected)

This year you can expect major changes in the iPhone 15 series. From the new Action button to the USB type-C port, the iPhone 15 series will get a major transformation this year. According to reports, the Pro models are expected to come with many additional features, including a titanium frame, a customizable Action button, the A17 Bionic chip, support for Wi-Fi 6E, and more.

Also, the titanium frame in the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to make the devices approximately 10 percent lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Reports have also suggested that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will get a 48MP main camera and the popular dynamic island feature which was introduced in the only iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max last year. Also, the iPhone 15 series smartphones are said to be available in new colour options.

As per leaks, the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will come in new colours, including Midnight (Black), Starlight (White), Light Green, Yellow, Blue, and Orange (Coral Pink). On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will offer colour options like Dark Blue, Silver-Gray, Space Black, and Titanium.

However, leaks have also hinted that iPhone 15 Pro models might get a major price hike this year.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to cost $100 more than its predecessor, starting at $1,099 in the US (about Rs. 81,200). The 15 Pro Max could see a $200 price increase, potentially starting at $1,299 (around Rs. 95,800).

For the base models, prices are likely to remain similar to last year. The iPhone 15 is anticipated to start at $799 (approximately Rs. 59,000), while the iPhone 15 Plus might begin at $899 (about Rs. 66,400).
