Actor Dino Morea made his debut with the television series Captain Vyom and got some breakthrough roles in a couple of films like Kandukondain Kandukondain, Raaz, etc. He, however, couldn’t make his mark in the movies and soon shifted to opening some business ventures. One of them is the Mumbai-based cold-pressed juice brand, The Fresh Press co-founded by Mithil Lodha and Rahul Jain.

Dino Morea came on board as both an investor and co-founder. Cold-pressed juice is juice made with a press that exerts thousands of pounds of pressure to extract the maximum yield from fruits and vegetables. Because of this simple process, cold-pressed juice is more nutrient-dense, delicious, and healthier than juice made with other methods. Cold-pressed juice also stays fresh for a longer period, mostly because there is no heat or oxidation involved in the process.

According to the reports, The Fresh Press has established over 36 stores nationwide since 2018. The brand has strategically partnered with PVR, INOX, and Reliance to solidify its market presence and accessibility to a larger audience, the company said in a statement. In the future, the brand aims to expand its market presence in Southern cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. It will also target key regions like Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi for nationwide coverage.

As per the statement issued by the company, the goal is to establish 1000 Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) stores, strengthening The Fresh Press’s position as a leading juice brand in India. The statement added that the company is committed to offering 100 per cent natural, sustainable products for a healthy lifestyle.

Dino Morea interacted with The Outlook regarding his business venture and said, “We aim to utilise it as effectively as possible and maximize results for smoother operations.”

The Fresh Press accomplished a milestone when it announced the raising of an undisclosed amount in a pre-series A round from Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund (GCCF). GCCF’s LinkedIn profile reads that they create an ecosystem to power brands across revenue and brand building, marketing solutions to create a nationwide reach, using the largest influencers and talent roster in the country.
