Securing a job at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a big deal. Now, here is a golden opportunity for those who are looking forward to getting a job at this reputed institute. AIIMS Deoghar is inviting applications for the post of Senior Residents in various departments. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the various posts through the official website. It is important to note that the application process for these posts has started in AIIMS. As per the notification issued, AIIMS is planning to recruit for 100 posts through its recruitment drive. The notification also stated the age limit for candidates applying for the posts of Senior Residents. The maximum age limit has been set to 45 years. Candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered for the posts.
The qualification required to get a job as a Senior Resident in AIIMS has also been mentioned. As per the official notice, the candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree in their appropriate department (MD/MS/DNB) from a recognised University/Institute. The candidates selected for the job role will get a monthly salary as per Pay level 11.
The application fee for candidates belonging to an unreserved category is Rs 3,000, while for those belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC) is Rs 1,000. Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person With Disabilities (PWD) (all categories)/ Women (all categories) do not have to pay any fee.
The official notification stated that any candidate who gets selected for the post of Senior Resident will get a salary of Rs 67,700 per month under Pay Level 11 and Non-performing Assets (NPA). They will also be given the usual allowances.
The appointment of the candidates will be valid for one year initially and might be extended to two years, as per the guidelines. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examinations and personal interviews. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the recruitment offline by filling out the application form attached to the official notification of AIIMS Deoghar. They must also attach all the supporting and relevant documents as mentioned in the official notification.

After filling it up, it should be submitted to the ‘Registrar Office, 4th Floor, AIIMS, Devipur (Academic Block), Deoghar- 814152 (Jharkhand) by speed post. Candidates have to submit their filled applications within 15 days from the issuing date of the official notification.
