Motorcyclist’s Scenic Cruise Brought To Sudden Halt By Stampede Of Wild Horses On Country Road
The warm, light breeze of the spring morning greets Henry as he perches himself on the leather seat of his motorcycle and kicks back the stand.
The motor purrs loudly before blasting into a loud vroom as he accelerates onto the main road. Henry is ready for an adventure and decides to cruise along the open highway that runs alongside the Gunflint Trail in Minnesota.
The rich robin’s-egg sky stretches endlessly above him as clusters of lush, dark green pine trees swiftly stream by him on either side.
Eagerly, he glances around for signs of wildlife, but nothing else around him seems to be stirring other than the large teal truck in the distance ahead of him.
As he continues to take in the beauty of the day, he realizes he’s steadily catching up to the teal truck. In the distance, a row of cars are frozen in place, and his bike joins their stationary state shortly afterward.
He studies the winding, faded grey asphalt as he tries to catch a glimpse of what brought traffic to a halt so abruptly.
Suddenly, a tiny amber-colored pony bolts out from around the teal truck and gallops toward Henry, followed by two large stallions.
The band of wild horses elegantly trot past him before making their way off the road and back into the dense brush.
